Subtitles of the Movie
Before we leave this chapter, I would like to mention one more type of frame that you may consider using on your web pages. This type of frame is known as an inline frame. Inline frames are very similar to a frames page. With the exception that when you are using inline frames, the contents are embedded on to an existing web page. Basically, anything that you can place or insert onto a regular page, you can insert into an inline frame. Inline frames are very useful for particular features, such as creating perhaps maybe a form for your customers or clients to fill out, other information that you may want to contain on your page could be survey forms, etc. To add an inline form to your web page, first open page view, then select the location where you want the inline frame to appear. Your next step is to select insert from your main menu, then select inline frame. On your page will appear the dialog box for the inline frame. To set the inline frame is exactly the same way that we set the previous frames, by either selecting set initial page, or select new page. We will select set initial page, where we will be able to choose from our box, our insert hyperlink box, the page that we want to have displayed here, or embedded into our web page. This particular page we are going to insert a form in, which we have created earlier on. Or I have created earlier on. However I am jumping a little ahead here, since we are not creating forms until chapter-17, which is another couple of chapters ahead. To select the item, highlight it, then click open. The form will now appear on your page, as you can see here. And we will just preview it, clicking on it. Then select preview, and you are able to preview this in our web browser. And as you can see, there is the form that we have embedded into our web page. To save this form, save it in the same way that we have saved the other frame pages. You are also able to edit this particular inline frame in the same manner that we edited the previous frame pages. we edited the previous frame pages.
