Subtitles of the Movie

Now that we have Expression Web installed, let's take a look at it in this movie. So let's start the program by going to Start, Programs, Microsoft Expression and then choosing that element from the Programs List. The program starts up and reminds us that we are using the trial version of the software. We can close out of this or if we bought the version, we can click Next and choose which way we want to activate that. I'm going to close it at this moment. At any time I can go to Help and activate the product once I purchase the full product. Notice that Expression Web does have your typical button on your task bar down at the bottom. You simply click that. It minimizes it back down or I click it again and I can maximize the program. I'm going to close out of it right now and show you we can put a shortcut for Expression Web on our Desktop just so that we don't have to scroll to that element on our Programs Menu every single time. So I'm going to go find Microsoft Expression. I'm going to right click and drag it and then I'm going to select Copy Here. I'm going to pull that over here with the rest of our files and now I can simply double click that shortcut to use Microsoft Expression Web. The other thing I want to make sure that you're aware of is that Expression Web installs to the hard drive. If you go to your My Computer, open up your Hard Drive, open up your Program Files and scroll down and you will find Expression Web. Right there are all your files. If for some reason you need to add or delete a file in case there's an issue, that's where you can go or maybe if you want to add templates specific to Expression Web, you could manually add them here. So take a minute and go start up Expression Web. Make sure you can make that shortcut to your Desktop and again make sure that you know where it's at on your hard drive.
