In this movie, let's take a look at the Accessibility Reports. By checking our website for Accessibility Issues we can improve the site experience for all users. We're going to use the Accessibility Checker on our Expression Web Site to discover issues that might be in conflict with the W3C, the World Wide Web Consortium, their Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or the section 508 Guidelines for the U.S. Government Accessibility standards. The government websites basically have to follow Section 508 for anything they have their site; they have to have Accessibility Options. Now the Accessibility Checker will let us create a checklist to help us keep track of items that we fixed and those that we still need to work on. It's going to list each problem and whether it's in conflict with these guidelines. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are going to have a priority one and a priority two. Priority one means if we don't comply one or more groups of users are going to find it impossible to access our information. Priority Two means if we don't comply one or more users might find it difficult to access the information. So let's take a look at this. We can do it two different two ways. We can go up to Task Panes and bring up Accessibility, so right there we can run the report or we can go to Tools, Accessibility Reports and right here we can do the current page, selected pages, everything, whatever we want to do. So let's click Check and we'll see what we've got here. It's got the specific line, the page, the checkpoint and of course it gives us a good summary of the problem. So make sure that you take the time just to run that report, just to make sure in case you need to fix anything that you can go in and take care of that. And remember there's all kinds of information online to watch for Accessibility Options, so take a look, search around, look at some additional information. If you have any questions about that, of course check the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or the Section 508 Guidelines on the U.S. Government.
