Let's take a look at how history can be modified to edit the sphere. Go over to the channel box, go to inputs, make NURB sphere. You can see that some of the options that were available to us in the create sphere option box are available here. I can change the radius - I change the sweep. Now select the sweep value by clicking on the channel box, where it says end sweep, and go in to the view panel, middle mouse button click and hold the button down and then move the mouse to the left or to the right. You can see that the sphere is opening up - I could also simply type in a value. I can change the degree, make it linear - see how fast this sphere has become, back to cubic. I can also change the sections and the spans as well as the height ratio. This is all available to me so long as construction history is turned on.
