I hope you've enjoyed this VTC on Maya Fundamentals for Maya 8.5. Well we've covered a lot of different things in here. The menu sets up at the top give an indication. We've looked at some modeling using polygons and surfaces, which are the NURBS modeling tools. We've looked at animation, and the graph editor and setting keyframes. We've taken a look at a little bit of lighting and rendering, texturing and materials in the rendering menus. And then also a quick look at dynamics. There are also some sections in the new Maya 8.5, we have nCloth which is used for creating cloth simulations, and this is also a type of simulation such as hair in the dynamics, we have the creation of fur and hair. And these are more advanced features that you can look for that some of the documentation and tutorials that come with Maya will take you through some of these sections. And just getting around the viewport, saving scenes, projects; should get you on your way towards creating some great graphics. And I hope that these little movies have helped you gain a new understanding of some of these features inside of Maya. And of course you never want to work in a vacuum, so it's good to check out a lot of the websites out there such as highend3d.com, and CGtalk.com for the forums. Great places to go and ask other users questions, and see how they're doing things, as well as checking out the bookstores and other DVD's and videos that are available. And just really working: the best way that you can gain knowledge of Maya and 3D animation in general is by trying stuff out and seeing what works and what doesn't work. So again, thank you very much, and I hope you've enjoyed this VTC.
