So, what items do we have available to us in the Custom Category inside the Object Library? Well, obviously, just scrolling around a little bit lets you know that there are all kinds of good stuff in here, all kinds of awesome pre-created custom objects, or groups of objects that we can use. Now, for example, I'm going to show you one here up at the top called Address Block, and this is very similar to the My Address Block that we just saved, although it's a little bit different. I'm going to take that entire Object and drag and drop it down onto my Form, just like this, and you know, I'm just going to zoom in just a little bit just to show you what's happened here, or of course, if you're following me along here you can check this out on your screen, but what we wind up with is a group of Fields. We have Name, Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Country. Well, that's pretty darn cool, and you know, when I first dropped them onto my Form it looked as if they were grouped, but they're all just individual Objects pre-saved, pre-created objects if you will, and what's awesome about this is depending on what you wind up dropping over from the Object Library you'll find that inside the Object Panel it's already set up for you. For example, the Caption is already set up, perhaps some Custom Appearance there, or multiple lines maybe, the Value tab may have some options set up as well as the Binding tab may be set up for you already. So, everything's already created for you. These are like the pre-made Form Objects, or Form Groups if you will. Now I want to show you a few others because there are definitely some cool ones in here. What I'm going to do is I'm going to select all of my newly created Form Fields here just by starting in the top left corner of the Group and I'm going to drag way down past the bottom right corner, select them all, and delete them, and I'll head back into the Custom Category inside the Object Library. Now if you want you can fiddle around obviously, but I'm going to show you one here called Countries. Would you have a situation where you want to create a Form that has a drop-down menu that would allow the user to select their country? Well, that's a pretty common thing so odds of that being something that you would be interested in I'm sure are quite high. Now I'm going to drag and drop this Country Drop-down Menu, and I'm going to go into my Object Panel and lo and behold, inside the List Items area they've already created for us a List of countries. Wouldn't be a pain in the neck to create this from scratch? Typing in every single country inside this little List Items? Well, they've done it for us, which is great. Now I'd love to show you how this works. I'm just going to save this guy up here and I'll flip back over to Acrobat. I'm going to Preview it inside of Acrobat anyway. You can use LiveCycle's little Preview tab if you wish, and there's my Countries Drop-down List, just like that. Isn't that unbelievable? Already created for us. It's a part of LiveCycle, so it's not like I have to you know, create this on my own, or make sure it's installed, or whatever, it's just a default item that we have inside LiveCycle. Now, I'm going to take this guy and I'm going to delete him as well, and as I say you may want to experiment with some of the others. There's e-mail address, there's current date, which is kind of cool. Wherever you see this Icon it looks like several objects or several shapes kind of grouped together, that means that you're going to get a Group of Fields dropped together. Wherever you just see an individual maybe a Drop-down, or maybe a little Date Icon, that would just be an individual Field, for example, an E-mail Address Field, right? So, anyway I hope that make sense. Now what I want to do is I want to go and reuse the Group of Objects that we just saved there a second ago, so I'm just going to zoom out a little bit and if you remember, this guy was stored all the way down toward the bottom of the list called My Address Block. I'm going to take that guy and I'm going to drag and drop him back over onto my Form, just like that. Maybe I'll use my arrow keys to nudge him over just a little bit, and now this guy is obviously a part of my Form again, but I still have the original Custom Group sitting over inside my Object Library which I can use on the next Form inside LiveCycle.
