OK, so we want to get some Checkboxes onto our Form here, and what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my Table to help us out a little bit to control some of the layout of our Table. So, I'm going to drop Checkboxes into each of the cells in the last row of our Table. So, I'm going to go over to the right-hand side here and pop open my Panels, and all I'm going to do is inside my Object Library here I'm going to go and look for my Check Box Object. You should see him in here somewhere. There he is, Check Box. And all I'm going to do is drag this object and drop him down into the first cell of the second row inside my Table, just like that. And as a matter of fact, I'm going to go and do the remaining three. We'll do all of these guys here and then we'll go and set up some Captions for these fellas, so. Go ahead and repeat that out. Just drag and drop your Check Box Object, or Form Element, into each of the cells Ð perfect. OK, I'm going to go back to the first guy here. Now we want to add in a Caption. Now you can add in a Caption in a couple of different ways. You know this already. You can type the Caption directly on the Form itself, or you can head over to your Object Panel and use your Caption Field. Maybe that's what I'll do here. I'll just click inside the Caption Field here, and here's the Caption for our first Check Box here: Structural Failure. Now, if you want to take a quick moment and have a look at some of the different options inside the Object Panel go ahead. We have our Appearance, we'll go and set that up in just a second; we have States, so the Check Box can either be On or Off; or the other option is, On Off Neutral. Have you ever seen a checkbox that does that? It's kind of like Yes, No, Maybe? I don't know if you've seen that in your travels or not. And then, of course, we have our Check Box Style. You've seen this a few times. And you might find a few other options down toward the bottom. We've seen these before as well: the Presence, and so on. So, hopefully all good. Now, let's go and finish off our remaining Captions. So, I'm going to go into the second Check Box now and his Caption is going to read: Spontaneous Explosion. Go and grab our third guy, his Caption is going to be: Mechanical Failure. And then finally, our last item here, our last Check Box, his Caption is going to read: Defective Parts /Assembly. OK, wonderful. Now, let's go and do some quick formatting here. What I'm going to do is I'm going to hold down Shift and I'm going to go and grab my other Checkboxes, I'm going to grab all these guys here. Now I want to make sure that they're all selected here. You know what I'm going to do, I'm just going to click away to deselect all and I'll reselect them all there. I don't think I had them all selected there. And then all I want to do is set up some Appearance here. So go into the Object Panel, Appearance, I'm going to go into Custom, and then I'm going to change this Edges here, Edit Individually, I'm going to change that to Edit Together. I'm going to switch my Style here to Solid, and I'll use the same formatting that we've used all along here, so 0.02, and I'll set orange for my Color, and then the Background Fill, make sure you're set to Solid and also white, and then click on OK. Alright, good stuff. Now, if you want to go and test this out inside Acrobat, if you want to save your Form and go and check it out inside Acrobat, go for it. The difference here between Checkboxes and you remember your Radio Buttons from earlier, we had the Yes-No Radio Groups, right? The difference is these fellas here you should be able to check off as many as you want, or as few as you want, right, as opposed to Radio Buttons which, of course, you can only choose one or the other, right? OK, good stuff. So there are your Checkboxes.
