The scale tool allows you to adjust the size of an object that is too big or too small. Now before you use the scale tool what you need to do is select the object with your pointer tool. Then you go select the scale tool and click a point where your anchor is going to be. So that's going to be my anchor point, click and drag. Watch how it flips over and I can resize this object to anything, any size I would like big, small, we will make it big. I can go ahead and resize that back. Now if I click the Shift key, and I am going to use this as my anchor point, notice that the object is scaled in proportion. And that's a look at the scale tool.
