Let's take a look at the line tool. The line tool allows you to draw a line. Now you have 3 choices with the line tool; you can pick the line, an arc, or a spiral. Let's start off with the line. The line tool, unlike the pen tool or the bezigon tool, allows you to draw a straight line only. You cannot draw a crooked line if your life depended on it using this tool. With the line tool you cannot click a series of points, you actually have to click and drag to draw your line. You can draw at any angle you want. If you want to draw at a 45-degree or 90-degree simply hold the Shift key down and you can move around to 45 or 90 degrees, that's your limit. Again the line tool is very handy just for drawing straight lines, no curves, straight lines only.
