Tools / Eyedropper
Subtitles of the Movie
Another tool that is commonly used is the eyedropper tool. This is a great tool when it comes to manipulating and using colors. Now one of the neat features in Freehand is that you can use your eyedropper tool, click and drag the color swatch into another art object, and hey, you just changed the color. You can do the same thing with the outline. The stroke color, I grab the stroke, the black stroke from the little circle and drug that to the fill of the hexagon. We are going to change that back to our original colors, which you can also do is you use the eyedropper tool to change the colors. Or to match colors of new drawings. So I am going to draw a circle, my goodness that is horrible. I have a blue center, blue fill and a red stroke, yuk. So what I would like to do is I can have a couple of options, I can click and drag the fill using the eyedropper tool, right. I am going to grab the black stroke, I now have a match. Another option if I want to keep drawing circles and not dragging swatches in, is set the fill to match the red. It automatically gives you an eyedropper tool and we will go match that. And hey I can draw circles to my hearts' desire of the same color or same fill and same stroke.
