Our next tool is the page tool. What the page tool does is it allows you to create a custom page size for your document. Let's say we are working 8 ½ x 11 here and jeez this looks good enough to turn into a postcard. So I'll go ahead and click the page tool, select the handles and resize the page. And notice that the artwork does not move or change size, only the page changes size. I know I can also rotate this by grabbing the corner handle to get the arrows to landscape or portrait. If you are going to change the size of your document, it kind of helps to know what size documents you are going to go to. In this case I am going to go ahead and open up the info toolbar and this will let us see the measurements or dimensions of the page. And we are going to create that 4 x 6 card. Now let's go ahead and reset the measurements to 4 inches tall, close enough, 6 inches wide. And I am going to move that back on top of the artwork and kind of get it where I would like it and I'll set that to 6 inches wide. And notice when I move the page the artwork is basically cemented in place and that's the page tool.
