Macromedia Freehand MX Tutorials

Introduction / Working with Panels

Subtitles of the Movie

In Freehand MX you have the ability to work with panels. Now you can simply click the panel under the view or you can just click the arrow and go ahead and expand or contract the panel. You have several panels properties, you can look at the objects or document, you can collapse that. And also we can work with mixer and tint, you can collapse that and expand layers, you see our layers. You can expand assets, you can work with swatches, styles, set up a library. And of course you have help, which is under the guides and answers; always there for as a reference for you in Freehand. Now what you can also do is move these around by simply clicking the handle, the series of little dots there, the gripy part. And you can drag those panels anywhere you would like on the desktop and you can also change the orders simply by clicking and dragging them. And since library is highlighted I can also move this to a new group or group with mixer and tints like so. You can change and move these around as how you would like to work. So it's completely customizable based on how you like your desktop to look and how you would like to work with your documents.
