New Features in Flash MX / Productivity Enhancements pt. 2
Subtitles of the Movie
Now let's say that you choose to use additional panels that aren't normally associated with these panel sets. For instance let's say we wanted to work with a scene panel. We open the scene panel, we docked it into our master panel and we want this to be open everytime we use Flash MX and select this panel set. This can be easily accomplished by going to the window menu and selecting save panel layout. You'll be prompted with the name that you want to give it. Simply type in. You'll be prompted with an input box asking you for the name you want this panel set to be saved as; in my case I'll enter developer, 800x600 and click OK. Since I already have a name, I'll enter developer, 800x600 scene to represent that I have the scene panel open in the setting. Click OK, and the panel set is saved. When we return to the window menu, we can select panel set and note that our developer scene has been open. If we want to open the developer set without the scene we can select the 800x600 setting and you'll note that the panel is open and the scene is not visible. Verify that the other panel set works by selecting 800x600 with the scene and you'll note that the scene panel is open in your master panel just as you had left it. r panel just as you had left it.
