Subtitles of the Movie

In Fireworks 4 and previous versions, text was created and edited using the text editor. All text editing and formatting options found in the text editor are now located in the property inspector. However you can still access the text editor through the text menu, if you feel more comfortable using it. The text editor is useful for working with text that might be difficult to edit on screen, such as large blocks of text, text attached to a path, or text with hard to read fonts and sizes. You can choose to display such text in the system font, enter font size if necessary to help make the editing task easier. Also keep in mind some new text features to Fireworks MX are not available in the text editor. To display the text editor, you must first select a text block on the canvas. Next you can select text and then editor, and the text editor dialog box appears. And you can see it looks quite similar to the various attributes that we saw within the property inspector. Here we can change and modify our text, and by selecting – well, actually we don't need to. The text is automatically updated on the canvas. We can change the color, various font attributes, formatting. And by selecting apply, we can apply it directly to the canvas. So we can display the text horizontally or vertically, and we also can choose how the text will flow. Either left to right, or right to left – much like we could within the property inspector. And of course we can also select the font that we wish to use. And of course we can also select the font that we wish to use.
