Intro / Quick Export

New to Fireworks MX is the quick export button, and this is located up here on the upper right hand corner of the document window. The quick export button lets you export Fireworks files to a number of macromedia applications including Dreamweaver, Flash, Director and freehand. In addition, you can export your files to Photoshop, Front Page, Adobe GoLive and illustrator. Or you could preview your files in your browser of choice. There are multiple options available to each software. For example for Dreamweaver we can export HTML, update HTML, copy the HTML to a clipboard, or even launch Dreamweaver. Flash we can export as a shock wave format, copy, launch macromedia Flash. Freehand, we can export to freehand or copy path outlines. Director we can export this PNG source as layers, or as slices. We can preview in our primary/secondary browser. We can also set our primary and secondary browser. Under other we have other options, we have export to Photoshop, GoLive, FrontPage and illustrator. And finally we can just copy the HTML code, or update the HTML code. This is a terrific way of exporting images, HTML code, and other elements to be used within macromedia's products and other third party applications. 's products and other third party applications.
