Subtitles of the Movie
In this movie let's take a look at a application CD-ROM that created for particular client. And of course the name of the client is been changed there no such thing as God's Bank But essentially this was for a client that dealt with the investment in banking industry. And this was going to be marketing CD-ROM, a really straightforward one. When the user had a CD they were simply click on any one of these buttons and then movie would appear and play for a length between a minute and half and jump back to the main menu. You would also have a contact page. When you selected the contact button you would have specific contact information for the company. Lets go ahead and deconstruct this png file to see how it was created. The logo is very straight forward, its just on a black background that's been grouped with the text element. The shot of the ATM was enhanced by using one of the effects built in to Fireworks. And that is eye candy and it motion trail. A motion trail by 108 degrees was applied to this section of the bitmap image. And this allows this image to blur and blend very nicely with the other background images. The background piece itself is a combination of a CD-ROM with a keyboard and you can see that slowly gradually fades to black, a mask was applied to this image and then cropped accordingly The image was saved with in Fireworks and then brought back in as one image. Can be placed right here in the background. Behind the image itself is a simple or I should say a basic shape, a black rectangle that sits right behind it. This allows this image that fades to black to work very nicely with it. And when I was creating this piece I taught that I really needed another visual element, since we talking about investment, banking, and financial institutions, as will as high-tech a sort of a combined look at the keyboard, CD-ROM which somebody actually using an ATM. And so these elements work quite nicely together and let this a nice spot that we can place the logo. In addition I used a simple shape a basic shape another black rectangle to notch out this section here work up with the title of the CD "strategic Initiatives in Banking". The background element itself was a shot from the photo CD, and once again I applied a layer mask and faded it to white, saved the image and brought it back into Fireworks. All the images you see here in the text effects that were created were all done within Fireworks. I also applied a 70% opacity to the background element. If we selected 100 it seem to pop out a bit too prominent, its little bit too much I can't want to let it fade in the background bit more. And the background canvas color of course set to white. And this image works quite well once again a sort of reinforcing investment, financial, banking theme. The texts used for the buttons are very straightforward just a typical font two colors applied, the top color is blue and the bottom color is red. And this help the contrast the text little bit. Also I select this piece, these two items you can see we have various live effects that have been assigned to them. And next I have a drop shadow assign and then I changed to glow. I can go ahead and deselect glow and reselect the drop shadow. And you can see that the glow using the white color is a bit more dramatic, and helps pop the text of the background bit more. The images to the right of the text are screen grabs from the video themselves. They were resized in Fireworks and a simple drop shadow was applied to them. And a really cool thing is that this piece was created, about well about almost 9,10 months ago, and still all the different elements can be changed. I can change the color of the glow as well as the amount of the glow. When you use to select one of this buttons they be taken to a screen where the movie will be played. I am to go ahead and turn off the various elements that I have here except for the one on top. Ok just a few more to go, few more bitmaps there we go, and this background image had slightly modified for use and playback but for the screen actually playback the video I create a basic shape dragged that and drop it right in the center. And I make sure that the basic shape was approximately 20 pixels wider and taller than the movie it self. So, that the movie will take focus in the very center. In addition I change the color to black and as well give it a basic drop shadow. To make it bit more visual attractive, so once again using Fireworks I was able to create very quickly a piece used in Director to playback video for CD-ROM drop shadow. To make it bit more visual attractive, so once again using Fireworks I was able to create very quickly a piece used in Director to playback video for CD-ROM
