And if you are working in a dialup modem there is times when you do not want to be tying up your phone line you want to work offline. Now how you do that is simply disable your connection, go up to the file menu, select work offline and you get a menu that says or a message that says you are working offline, as where you can make changes to the website assuming that you have all the pages loaded on your hard drive in the first place. Now if you are going back to work online again simply select the work on line and its going to go ahead and connect to the server and you are good to go back on line. So again working offline is a way of allowing you to edit your documents without being connected to the internet, more for most folks work with broadband cable and ISDN this is not an issue for those folks who are working with dialup modems and, you only have one phone line in the house you may want to consider working offline by again selecting work offline from the file menu and if you want to reconnect again simply just click the work online button. ]
