How do you import a connection key, let us say you are part of new user group or then asked have been asked to work on someone else's website as a contributor, what you are going to do is get your hand on the connection key and this could be sent you by email, it could be sent you by disc or be sitting out of the network. In this case I have the connection key that I have sent to myself and took it off the email and put it out on the desktop and notice it has the name of the website and the file extension STC, ok that should be your big clue that that is the connection key. And we will go back to Contribute, and we are going to import this into our site. so we are going to go to the edit menu, select my connections, going to import a connection then you browse to where your connection is and in this case again it is on the desktop, click open and in this case I am going to get little warning popup that tells me do you want to replace the existing connection, in my situation yes, because I have basically sending myself the same connection. You are not going to see that, because you are going to be working with a connection from another user or from another website but in this case I am going to click yes. Now it is going to ask you what is the connection key password the administrator or other user should have sent you this information if you do not have it get in touch with them and get it. Now if you are going off the earlier tutorial or I created this you know the password is VTC is awesome, click ok and that is going to validate the connection, pop out to the server and make sure everything is right, I am who I say I am in other words and we are all done.
