Working with Media / Locking
Subtitles of the Movie
You may want to keep things in one position, and that comes with the territory of actually locking an object. And I'll select couple of objects here and position them. Here I have my movie clip. I'm going to reposition our little logo here, and I'm going to reposition the movie clip. You can lock objects by going to the Arrange menu and choosing lock. And then from there, you can't move the object at all. It's part of the upholstery, you couldn't lock. Now that's locked, I can't move alter or resize. Go ahead and select all the shapes and mark them, and you could hold down Shift and multiple select. Now, we have three objects selected and we can lock all three at the same time. Now you see, we can do it to the text box as well, and we can use the arrow keys to nudge down or nudge your graphics or text boxes, and we could lock it. Select the second slide and lock the text boxes. And we could stretch this text box to save some screen real state and lock it. Let's go to the third slide and we'll go ahead and lock the content here as well. Go ahead and lock. OK, now we've everything locked. You can't move or manipulate anything in our project. Let's learn how to unlock. Select the first slide. And if you notice, unlock is not available at the moment. The reason why is you have to click on the object you wish to unlock. Select the graphic, choose unlock. Select a logo, unlock. Go ahead and unlock all your content. If you hold down Shift, you can multiple select objects, or you can unlock one at a time. Shift will add to your selection. Let's go on to our next slide and unlock our title and unlock our bullets. Let's go to the third slide. Now if you hold down Shift, you can select more than one object. So let's select all the objects and then unlock, and you see it unlocks everything as a group. nlocks everything as a group.
