Keynote Basics / Notes Field

Subtitles of the Movie

OK, let's talk about the Note View. The note view is great for annotations during a slide show. It doesn't actually preview with the slide. As you can see we opened up petshowslideshow.key to work with this lesson. So, the note view is not displayed during the preview of the slide. It's simply for your use. I'm on the 3rd slide. And we go to the View menu to turn on notes, and I apply my notes - and you can annotate the slide show. We'll go to slide two and we'll type our notes. Select the first slide, and you could see the notes are only here to let you know. And, you can print out the notes. So you can use them as a handout, or a sheet of paper, to actually describe what your slide's going to be. So when you talk about you have an idea of each slide, and what to cover in your presentation. I can open up the Inspector for a moment, and we'll just move this out of the way for the time being. If I go to the File menu, I can print outlines, which is nice. I could also change the size of my slide show, and a dialog box appears. I could change this to 640 x 480. But the problem is if I change my slide show right now, the graphics and the content will not match. Once I click OK, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Here you are - the content fits much less on the left and the content that's outside does not fit, and we can undo that. do that.
