Keynote Basics / Changing Text Color

Subtitles of the Movie

Let's take a look at how you can change text color. Here, we have our Inspector out, and you can obtain the Inspector from the View menu. You can also obtain it from your toolbar. Now, there are several different ways we can deal with this text. Step 1 is, make sure we change our master to a bulleted master, because we're dealing with bullets. And we can double-click the text and type 'cats', hit enter, 'dogs', enter, and 'birds'. I'll move this over a little bit. And we could select the text by clicking and dragging upwards and it selects the text. If we wish to change a color, we can double click the color square and choose a color mode. We'll choose RGB in this case, and we'll choose a red. I'll drag the color and drop it to the text, and you see there is a color change. You could also control other things involving the text. Grab the alignment - center, right align, justify, align to the top, middle or bottom - we'll leave it for middle. The character spacing, the spacing in between the letters - leave that as a default. The actual bullet alignment, and finally the spacing between our sentences. I could also choose numerological order. I can choose a bullet of my own (if I had a bullet image), roman numerals, and I could pick some of the presets bullets that they have. I'll choose this checkbox, or perhaps this star. And you could increase the size of those bullets, as well as the alignment of the bullets. And that's it. And that's it.
