Subtitles of the Movie

Let's go ahead and explode a pie chart. Sounds interesting, doesn't it? We're actually going to click and choose charts right now, and that's going to spit our chart right on to our canvas And we are going to go ahead and change this from a bar chart to a pie chart. Now, here's our Edit chart, that's the content we could actually edit. Now, what I'm going to do is actually shrink the size of the Pie chart and of course position the pie chart. We can indeed control the values, of course, from the Edit Chart window. But if I double click one wedge in the chart, I can explode the chart, and that means force it outward. And you can use that to make a point. You could say that this fraction equals toy sales per month, double-click and explode the wedge. We can have the percentage with the numerical value appear outside the wedge. You could explode this a little bit more. What if you wanted to add another wedge? Well, first let's edit the content here. Let's change it to New York. As you see the values can go outside and of course inside. You could control the shadowing. Let's go ahead and add another column. Scroll this over, and let's add another wedge. Let's first rename this. Let's go ahead and explode this piece a little. Let's go ahead and add another wedge. Now, once you add the wedge, you can't see it. But you can see it in the Edit Chart field. What you need to do is give it a value. Once you give it a value, you'll see it appear in the pie chart. Let's give it a value now. Give it something drastic so you can see it, hit enter, and the extra wedge will appear. So, you can use add columns or add rows in order to expand the chart that you are working with. You can choose decimals or no decimals. You could have the actual years appear on top of the chart, which is interesting. chart, which is interesting.
