My name is Melanie Hedgespeth. I'm very passionate about learning about technology. I love a challenge. Then, I also love taking that technology that I've learned and simplifying it so we can all understand it. I love working through those frustrating times and then figuring it out and then helping the next person figure it out so they're not frustrated. I've worked with technology for a very long time. I have been a technology trainer for many, many years. I'm also a technology manager. I thoroughly enjoy all the troubleshooting elements that are involved with technology. Just when you think you've figured it out, there's another hook in there and you've got another element to understand. So, it's definitely something that always challenges me and keeps me on my toes. I started out with getting a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Business Education. That's actually where I got started in computers. I was afraid of computers when I was in high school. That's when we first got them. I was afraid to touch them, that I would make something bad happen. So then once I started in the computer education part of it I realized there are so many logical elements to computers and they were challenging, that I really enjoyed teaching that the most. Then I got my Masters of Science Degree in Informational Technology because I love technology so much Ð taught at the collegiate level Ð really enjoyed the challenges in thinking outside the box that many of the students would have. That led me into getting my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification. I enjoyed learning all about networking and the fine details of all the networks available within the Microsoft environment. That led me into becoming a Technology Manager. I enjoy doing the technology management and I still do training for public and staff periodically to help them understand technology and make it easy to use.
