In this tutorial we take a look at the different resources and tools that are available to assist in developing jQuery applications. Now first of all is the jQuery Web site itself. As you've seen, the documentation is quite thorough. We also have a number of tutorials that are going to be quite helpful to assist you in getting up to speed with jQuery and taking a look at some of the more advanced features. In addition to the tutorials and the documentation there's also Discussion here, so if you take a look at the Discussion you have Mailing Lists you can participate in, RSS Feeds, and IRC Channels. So, there are a lot of different ways that you can tap into the discussion of what's going on with the development of jQuery. There is also a jQuery Blog and if you're interested in finding out more about the current going-ons of jQuery and development you might want to check out that Blog. Now, in addition to the resources here there are a large number of articles out on the Web that you might want to check out as well as Resources for jQuery on the Web in general. Now because of the shifting nature of the Internet, I'm not going to provide any links here to anything specific, but I do recommend that you do a general Internet search asking for jQuery resources, jQuery tools. Now, a couple of the tools that will pop up for you are going to be Aptana and the Extend. US. Now, in previous tutorials I talked about both of these and Aptana Studio provides support for a large number of Ajax Libraries and the Extend. US Web site has a Dreamweaver extension for jQuery. So, if you're interested in either one of those I do recommend that you go check those out. And that concludes our discussion of the resources and tools that are available for jQuery, and it also concludes our second look at jQuery.
