Define JavaScript Libraries / Summary
Subtitles of the Movie
In this tutorial we're going to summarize the information that we talked about in the previous tutorials. So first of all, let's take a look at that definition again. A JavaScript Library is a highly-developed and refined set of commonly-used user interface elements and data manipulation features powered by JavaScript made available to the general public by expert developers. These JavaScript Libraries are quick and easy to use. They are going to make building rich Internet applications within the reach of most people willing to learn some basics about JavaScript and related technologies. Also, these JavaScript Libraries make working with JavaScript more fun. It's quite easy to explain why; because if you're not having to bang your head against why your JavaScript code is doing something that doesn't make any sense, then it's going to be a lot easier for you to work with and thus quite a bit more fun. Now, of course, all of these things are great but we need to keep in mind that there are some of those disadvantages that we need to make sure that we don't rely on the JavaScript Libraries excessively. OK, so with that information in mind, that concludes this tutorial.
