Hello there. My name's Mark Long and I've been the author for this Course. I hope you've enjoyed it. I hope you got some things you can use. I hope it'll make your life as a developer easier. Lord knows you need that! Anyway, just a little about me so that you'll know kind of who's been teaching you here. I live in Nashville, Tennessee. That's in the southeastern United States. I do consulting and training for various companies here, and a lot of what I tried to bring you here is some hands-on examples and functionalities here and kind of some gotchas, and I hope that helps. I do consulting with companies as varied as insurance companies, to real estate agents, to some people in the country music industry. I do training for companies all over town here, so anyway, I hope I can bring a little real-world stuff into it, and help you with it. Since I live in the southeastern United States and the weather's usually great here Ð we don't even really get much snow Ð I enjoy motorcycling. I've got an old man's sport bike, if you would, Yamaha FZ1, and so I speed around town here on the back roads and so forth. So, that's just a little about me. If there's something you didn't like we'd like to hear those. Now, let me warn you about the emails. When you e-mail me I will do my best to get back to you as quick as possible but sometimes that may take me a few days or a week or so, so just be patient. And also, let me warn you, please don't send questions that are kind of consulting in nature, or you know, a couple of megabytes of code and you want me to go through it and check some things and stuff. I don't have, unfortunately I don't have the ability to service those. That's more of a consulting thing. But I would be happy to point you to resources, answer simple questions, and those sorts of things. So, anyway, thanks for being here.
