In this movie I want to take a moment to review what we learned about some of these filters. Now, from the Filters Menu we do have the ability to execute our previously-executed filter, as well as reshowing the dialog. But we also have a lot of filters that we did not go over. Now, some of these filters were selected specifically and other ones were selected more or less at random. However, it is going to be to your benefit to spend some time playing around with almost all of these filters just to see what they do. So what I would recommend is that you go in here and you open up a file that you want to work with and it doesn't really matter what that file would end up being. I'm going to go ahead with my Rock Garden again and then go into your Filters Menu and just select one that you want to see with the effect would be. So I'm going to go ahead and go to the Artistic and I want to see what this Predator would do. So just click on Predator and typically the best thing to do just to get started using these is to click OK. And what will happen is it will go to work and it will apply the effect to your image. And then you can see what the end result would be firsthand. So as you can see here, it's kind of created this interesting color pattern based on saturation and other values inside of our image. Now, of course, one of the best ways to see what's going on is to go into your Help System and launch the Help and find out what the Help System has to say about a specific filter and more than likely they'll give you more detailed and more technical information about how the filter's working as well as some nice little examples showing you an image before and an image after a filter was applied. Now, once you have applied a filter and if you don't like that filter, there's not reason to panic. All you have to do is go to File Menu and just do Revert and it will take it back to the original document that you started with. So we'll just click Revert and it takes me back to my original Rock Garden. So my recommendation is that you just spend some time going in and checking out what these things would end up doing. Now, with just a little bit of time spent messing around with these filters, you might want to start combining those filters together and seeing what the results would end up being. And keep in mind that GIMP has some very powerful things inside of here and you shouldn't be afraid to experiment with any of them because you always have that Revert ability or you can just close out of the document and not save your changes. Now, with all of that in mind, you should feel very comfortable working with your different filter elements and then finding out more information about how to use those filters using your Help Menu and if you want more specific information on how other people have used these filters, do a quick Internet search to find out how other people are using those filters. So that concludes this movie on my review of the filters and some recommendations for your further exploration.
