Creating an Audio File. We're going to pick up where we left off in our last lesson with Project 1. At this stage, we've now entered all of our Music, added all of our appropriate Score Markings and the only thing left for us to do is to save this as an Audio Playback file. We can do this by going to the File Menu and selecting Export to Audio File. This will open the Save Audio File As dialog box and we'll choose a name for this file. We'll call it Project 1. By default, this will save as a WAV format file. I'm going to click Save and this will run through the process. We notice that at the top of the screen we can see that Finale is running through the entire file as it renders it. Finally, at the bottom we notice that it gives us a Progress Bar showing us that it's saving the file. At this point we have our WAV file saved to our default location that we chose with our Save As Menu. We've now printed our document, Ctrl-S to save it and we've now completed our first project.
