Now this is pretty good, you're starting to save space, in fact we're almost on a single page here, but as you can see, it really would be better to have this Ita Agslude over here underneath it, and then really start our other column over here. I think it would be much better use of space and it'll make much more sense. So you can easily do that, we'll go to Layout mode and take a brief snapshot in your mind of what it looks like here. Look where these columns are. It goes only inside the body part because we're going to change that, we're going to go to Layout Setup, we're going to change it to Down First, and watch how the layout changes. See how it goes all the way to the sub summary part? Well, you want to make the connection between what changed here in Layout mode to the changes in Preview mode. So now you'll see that now the sub summary is allowed to come over here, and we're almost down to - well we did get into one page. See how that improvement made it? We're all on one page here, and so now we have a single page contact list, this is great. The only thing I don't like here is that the phone number is not even on all these places. I like to have it even, so let's go into Layout mode, and we'll double click on that text block so we can get in there, and we'll view our text ruler, and we'll figure that it's right about here that we want that phone, maybe right about here. I'll click and it goes in there, and then I'll double click on it. I'm going to make it a right aligned, and I'll also put a fill character in here of a period. We'll click OK, go to Preview mode, and you can see how things are much better lined up. Now, you might have to work with this a little bit because what if somebody has a longer name, it might scooch that over, let's see if we had that problem here. This one almost got too long, but it didn't. It looks like actually we did pretty fine on this, but you might actually have to do that. In fact, here on the Osborne, John Mark, you see it scooched over a little bit? In that case what you have to do is just say "Well I really don't have enough room for that size font, so I'll go to a smaller one, go to 10 point, and that probably will solve the problem." Let's see what happens, and let's see what happened to John Mark Osborne, now it looks like it fits now, so that's probably the best solution here, although we could make that text block bigger also, let's try that solution. So we'll go back to the same size, 12 point, we'll double click in there, and then move that over; let's move it over quite a bit here, maybe right about there. Let's see how that works, and then we'll preview it, and you see we can still get the whole thing in here, there's still some space in that - between the columns, and you can see now we have enough room for that. So if you like the bigger font size, well this may be just a great solution just to make that tab over a little bit farther. So it's up to you how you solve that; there's many ways to do it, but just remember when you're working with FileMaker, try to think how you can combine features so that you can make something happen that wasn't necessarily possible. I mean, certainly the developers of FileMaker thought about these things and how they interact, but they don't think of all the possibilities, so think about how you can combine. In this case, we took sub summaries, columns, tabs, and calcs, and made a really neat contact list.
