I have been entering data into this table and I want to show you what I have done. Here is my original invoice for G****** and there are 3 products entered here TYRE, GASCAP and Antennae. Here is second record J***** I have 3 more line items for Adams I have one more line item. Now if you notice the line item ids are unique 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. What I am going to do now is show you how you can find related data. Now, decrease the size of this. I have got 3 records here. Notice that I have Tyres on the 3rd invoice and the first invoice. If I go into find mode and click in the product name and type Tyre, capitalization does not matter now. So I click find notice that I found 2 records. What I have found are the 2 related records that 2 join table records that contain Tyres. So I have G****** with a Tyre then I have Adams with the Tyre. Now what is important about this is that I can use this portal to search for data. Let me show all the records and I will do it again. This time I am going to look for Hub, which occurs only in one invoice. If I go to find and search on Hub I have found one record. It is the only one that contains the Hub. Now if I go into find mode and I look for Tyre, remember there are 2 records that have Tyres. Going to add a new request, Hub there is only 1 record that has a Hub. Notice that I have got 2 requests now. One searching for Hub and one searching for Tyre. And I have found 3 records. This record was found because it has Tyre. This record was found because it has Hub. It does not have Tyre and this record was found because it has Tyre and the records that I am finding are the records in the join table and I am finding them by searching for data in the portal in the related table.
