So we've got a pretty good script running here but we need to have it so that our actual Validation doesn't occur, so in order for that to happen we have to say Exit Script and this is a cool little feature. So if we come in here and say Exit Script 0, what will happen is, it'll actually capture that exiting that field and not make it happen, so like, for instance, if we tabbed from First Name to the next field this would capture that so it wouldn't happen, but we only want it to happen if it finds a duplicate, otherwise we want them to actually do that tab, so this is how you capture that event that causes the Validation. You can capture it and eat it by saying the Result of this script is 0 if there's a duplicate because we don't want it to do that tab and be in the other field, we just don't want that to happen. So, it wouldn't be a real problem in this case, but in this case it would be possible, you know, you just want to capture those in most cases. So we're pretty much done with this so let's take a look at this. We set the Variables, commit the record, check if it's a duplicate, show a message if it is. If they say they want to view them, Go to Related Records so they can review those otherwise we say OK, we'll go back in the field so we can keep on validating because they can't say no to the message and then just automatically be able to go on without having Validation. You have to really replicate that Validation feature. And so, it looks like we got this whole thing done pretty good, so let's save it here. Go into Browse Mode and what we'll do is create a New Record and we'll put in John Mark Osborne, and all we need is the number for the address. Click outside. We get our message, we'll hit No. See how it's still in there? If I try to tab again I keep getting that message, so I'll go, OK, well let's see them. We'll hit Yes and you can see both the records are there. You can view either one you want, this one or this one and see what the difference is and decide whether to delete this one or not.
