So we're going to hit Cancel here, those tables or fields and I want the layouts to be created. We'll discard here and now we're going to go into ScriptMaker. We're going to check this out. You can actually Copy and Paste scripts. So we can select a script and notice there's no Copy and Paste down here. You may have it in an earlier version, but in FileMaker 10 and FileMaker 9, those were removed because they redid the interface here because this is not a mobile dialog like manage database is. You can, you know, send that behind. Let me do it like this. You can set it behind like that and do other things. With manage database, you're stuck in that dialog, so with that change, they took the Copy and Paste buttons out of here. So in order to Copy and Paste this, you can either on the Macintosh choose Copy or you can use a keyboard command if you want and just do a Control C or a Command C. And once you copy it, then you can go ahead and choose Paste from here or use the keyboard command. It'll go right in there for you. And so we'll delete that out of there. You can select multiple scripts if you want. Hold the Shift Key down to select all those, hold the Command Key down or the Control Key for discontiguous selections and you can copy all those at once and Paste them. You can, in fact, copy and go to another file and paste it if you want. You may not get an entire script, you'll get the entire script but it may not know some of the fields but if you can save yourself some time, if you've got a script that's a hundred lines long and all you have to do is change a few lines, like maybe there's a set field that's referencing a field that's not in your new file, well, then, you know, you can save yourself a ton of time just by changing one and possibly a ton of time in troubleshooting where you make mistakes because you're doing it from scratch every time. So this can be a big timesaver. And we can also do this. We can go into our script, edit it and we can select script steps. I could select this script step, use the keyboard command to copy it, decide it wants to go right there, then use the keyboard command to paste it and it goes right in there. I can do Shift clicks and I can also hold down and do discontiguous selection just like you did in any other dialog. I can then Copy and Paste them. So I'll keyboard command that. In fact, we'll decide to not save this, come into another script, click right here and paste. There you go. It's as simple as that. So it's very easy to do that. So we'll close this and not save it and then we'll close this. So there's a couple of things you can get with FileMaker Advanced that you can't get with the regular FileMaker Pro. And this is just strictly copying and pasting or importing the schema. So I'd highly recommend that, to get FileMaker Advanced. It'll really help you out a lot. In fact, another feature we haven't shown you is there's also the ability to import into FileMaker ScriptMaker. So you just click this, you choose the file and we don't have a file here to choose. Well, we do. We can use Contacts Copy and when you do that, you can actually choose which scripts you want to do. So if you're going to import a whole bunch, you can go ahead and just choose that file and do it. Now, these will be duplicates of what we have because it was a duplicate of the file, but you'll get the idea. And we'll get some conflicts here because of the names, but you could get conflicts because it doesn't have certain fields available or things like that. You could even open a log file if you want. This can make it much quicker to get that in there. So we'll delete those. So I can't tell you how important FileMaker Advanced is if you really want to develop efficiently and error free. It really helps me to take, it must take at least 20 or 30 percent of my development time off. And we'll get into other features that are in FileMaker Advanced, but I highly recommend getting it. If you're just beginning, you probably don't need it right away, but when you've got the money to purchase it, it's really worth it.
