Then, once we're out of this, we can perform the Find and there is a chance that there won't be any records that match it, so we need to do that. We need to check for Error 401 and once we do that, if we find that there are no errors, an error 0, we must have found records. We can check if we have 1 record, go to Form View. If we have more than one record, go to List View. So let's see how it works. Let's actually run it. So we're going to come down here and click on this button. Let's actually zoom that up like that, click on this button. You can see it comes up perfectly centered here. You can still move it if you want, but because the script is paused, we can't click back here. That's kind of nice. I can't click anywhere in here and move this to the back. That's because the script is paused right now and that's important to know. What I can do is I can come in here and let's say check Commercial and Government. We'll hit Continue and you can see that it's performed a Find, but there's a lot of records here. How do we know if it's performed the right find? Well, again, your best way to do that is to go to Modify Last Find and we can see that we have Government here and if we go into the next record, so Go To Request Previous, we'll see it has Commercial on it. So we have those two requests, so we know it's worked perfectly. Now, let's try running this again and make sure the Cancel works. It looks like it works great. So here's a great feature for making it really easy for your users to go ahead and work with FileMaker and new requests. Remember, once you understand this technique, then you can add other global fields in here that are just regular fields that they, let's say we had, we want to include in here a company name field. Well, you'd take that company name field and you put it on every request, so if we put in Database Pros, it would be the same on every request. Only these check box items would be the new requests. The regular fields would be put on every single request, so we would see Commercial, Database Pros, and on the next one, Government, Database Pros, and for however many check boxes, you repeat that Database Pros every single time. So you can certainly incorporate this with other regular fields and do a really neat find. You can do a lot of things in Browse Mode that you can't do in Find mode, so remember that as an option. You can use global fields in Browse Mode and transfer all that data, once you've manipulated it, into Find mode for the user and do some interesting things that just weren't possible in Find mode.
