Track Types Video. So, let's create a brand new Session, so in Pro Tools, let's go New, Session, and we'll just leave these settings here, and I'm going to save this to the Desktop, say Movie, and with our new Session I've got the DV Toolkit 2 installed just to make a point of this, I'm on an LE system, as you can see, Pro Tools LE, and when I go to Import Videos or Movies Ð let me go down to Import, and we're going to go and take a Video file, I can see the Default Key Command there, and let's navigate to some video files that we've done for VTC here. So, I'm going to import a few of these. Normally you'd only have one video at a time, so 6.9 HD and then 7.3 and above with the DV Toolkit 2, or the Complete Production Toolkit, I have the option to have multiple video files. So, we used to have an option to be able to import Audio from Current Movie. We don't have that anymore as a result of being able to have multiple movie files, so it doesn't know what current movie that you would like to import it from. So when you import your movie be sure to check Import Audio from File, otherwise you're going to have to go back and just navigate to it to import it that way. So, I actually want these on a Track and I'm going to have these at the Session Start, so kind of nice option if I were doing these side by side. I'm just going to go ahead and say 5 seconds, and we'll create this. So, where do we want to stick the Audio? From the actual content, so it's importing all of that, converting it to the Sample Rate for these Sessions, and then it's going to pull up these movies that we're doing. So, in order to toggle our movies on all I need to do is hit Command-Pad-9, and that will toggle my movie files. So, you can see what I've got here. Let me zoom out so we can see all of them. So, there's my 5-second gap in between, so you can add even more, let me shrink this down a little bit and then close this, and we can see all of our movies that have been imported. So, I can have multiple movies. I can also, when I create new Tracks, I can have multiple video tracks, so I'm going to go in and choose Video Track. Again, you're only going to see this if you've got DV Toolkit on an LE system. I'll go ahead and choose 8 of those, and then you can choose which one is active, which one's going to be currently playing. Also keep in mind that we have multiple frame rates so if we want to have different Frame Rates that are working, so this is at 10 frames per second, I can go ahead and have different Rulers that will display that, so if I am switching between videos within a Session. I can also, with the Universe Window, show my movie file, which is kind of nice. So, I've got a Movie Universe, which is helpful to see all of the videos that we're working with in our Session, and then I can even edit these, which is a little bit surprising. So, I can move these around and do what I want. Typically you wouldn't be editing video in Pro Tools, but you can cut things up and trim things down if you're going to bounce your QuickTime once you're all done and that will export as well. So, once you're done you can bounce this down as a QuickTime Movie if you wanted to, so. Pretty nice options that you have.
