Edit Window Views. I just want to formally go through some of our different views that we get in the Edit Window, so on our Tracks let me go ahead and go through what each of these are. We will be discussing these as we go throughout formally. Let's just talk about them from left to right. So, our Comments here, this is fairly straightforward. This is where I would go and say what type of Patterns I was using, what Mike I was using, anything that would be helpful to let us know what was done with this particular Track. We have various Playlists, things that were done, what Playlists were good, et cetera, so this is where you just basically type in your Comments. So, next one Mike Pre, you're going to see on HD systems and this is an option if you have an external Pre-amp that actually uses the MIDI control. There are a few of them that are out there. Digidesign originally made theirs the DigiPre and I can control various controls from the Pre on the Tracks that are assigned to the input of the Pre. The next one, Instrument is really for Instrument Tracks. It allows us to be able to see our MIDI view of what would normally be in the IO Setup, so when I've got Instrument Tracks I can see all the inputs that are controlled normally through MIDI watch the MIDI on Instrument Tracks. Next one Inserts. Now in Pro Tools 8 we have 10 Inserts and this is where we go and assign our Inserts, our various effects, so fairly straightforward there. Moving on, our Sends. In Pro Tools 7 we got the ability to have 10 Sends, so we can choose what we're actually seeing. If I Command-click on this I can choose to see each of the individual Assignments, or the actual Sends themselves, so if I want to go out to the Interface, the Hardware, I could see all my settings on that, and then again Command-clicking I can change between those. So, up to 10 that we get, and then moving on to our IO View is how we actually assign our Inputs and our Outputs, and our Panning left to right by clicking the Option-click I can go back to my Default settings, and then our actual Realtime Properties for MIDI and Instrument Tracks, which controls our MIDI in Realtime, so if I'm going through and I want to quantize or set some delays I can turn this on or off based on whatever settings that I've got here, so I'm actually not applying it to the MIDI Regions, but I'm doing it in Realtime. So, that's a quick overview from left to right of our various Views that we see in the Edit Window. We can also change our Rulers with this same type of option, what we want to see with our various Rulers, and you can see that we can completely lose our Edit Window by choosing everything, especially with this screen resolution.
