Comping a Take Part 2. So let's do another way of comping our takes together. I'm going to go and make a selection of what I want to work with. I've got Tab to Transients on and I'm just going to tab to where I want to separate these out and with my selections made if I'm in Key Focus Mode, I've got those selected, I can use the semicolon to navigate up and down as far as separating them across the takes like this. I can move them over. So I'm Shift holding, then Command E and now I'm going to go up to my Object Selection. So with the grabber as I select objects, what I can do is I can drag this up to my playlist. If I don't hold down Option, I just drag up, it's actually going to mov this and you can see it slipping all over the place so I can get out of time with this. So I'm going to hold down the Control Key and drag that up so it moved that from the playlist that it was currently in. I want to actually duplicate that so I'm going to hold down Control and Option and drag that up. Be careful when you're doing this. I want to first click and then actually hold down Control Option. If I just grab, hold down Control Option it's going to bump it over to where my selection was. So it's duplicating and the Control is actually saying go to where my current selection is. So I want to make sure that I have my Edit in Timeline Selection links together when I'm doing this. I'm making a selection so I'm updating what my selection is first, then holding down Control and Option. I'm just dragging up so I can move between these rather quickly and keep them in the location. So again, you can see what happens if I don't click first to update my selection. So I' m moving with the Arrow Keys, kind of helpful to jump around between our regions, keep what our selection is. Again, make sure you're in Key Focus and the arrows would be our L, our Apostrophe, our Down Arrow would be our Semicolon and our Up Arrow would be P. So that's how I'm jumping between these to keep what my selection is and I can choose to promote it that way. Also, if I hold down Command and Control or Control and Start Key on Windows and then click on this little arrow where I'd normally toggle between my playlists, which ones I want to see, I can actually toggle view there. So if I want to have my playlists on or off, so that's kind of helpful to go between.
