Elastic Pitch. Alright, new to Pro Tools 8 is Elastic Pitch, and this is another step from our Elastic Audio that we've got, so what's happening every time we change Tempo with our Polyphonic, our Rhythmic, and our Monophonic, is it's keeping the original Pitch. So, in order to do that it actually had to change the Pitch, right, because if we're going to go faster then our Pitch is going to speed up, and in order to actually keep the same Pitch then it has to drop the Pitch down, and vice versa. So, with Elastic Pitch this works for each of our algorithms except for our Monophonic. So, let me go back to our Wave Form View, what I can do is I can select this Region, it pulls up our Elastic Properties and we've got our Pitch Shift here. So I can choose what I want to Shift this in, so I can go up to two octaves, and this Region will not be moved up. So, I'm doing this in Realtime. Let's just solo that. Little silly. Let that Kick in. So, I'm doing this in Semitones, and then 100 cents in every Semitone. So, that's pulling it up with our Elastic Properties. We can also go into our Event Operation and we can do Transpose, and based on our Selection we can also change it there. So, if I want to move things by Octaves, I want to apply it to that Region. OK, so on our Transposition that's happening, keep in mind that these last options here when we say we want to Transpose, this is actually for MIDI Events only. So, I can apply it for these others. I can say this is C3 and I want to go to this Key, it's not analyzing what the actual Key is, you're just using that based on your own settings and there is a Key Settings that you can do. You can type in your own, so if you want to change this and then when I come again down to the bottom I need to do this only for MIDI. So, All Notes. So, that is our Elastic Pitch and some of the things that we can do with it are pretty nice, new to Pro Tools 8.
