About the Author. Hello. My name is Adam Olson. I am a Pro Tools Certified User, so brief background as far as who I am. I teach currently Digidesign Pro Tools as an instructor and I am a Certified Instructor as well. I also teach Logic and Logic Advanced as a Certified Instructor. For my Masters Degree I wrote a certification course on Steinberg's Cubase. I started out as a Guitar Performance Major in Jazz and Classical and then injured my fingers and ended up after a number of years on the other side of the glass studying digital audio and recording. Something I wanted nothing to do with, technology was the furthest thing from my mind, but somehow I ended up after injuring myself in it and it has kept me in the music business which has been my love and passion.
