Groups Part 4. OK, on HD systems we've seen that we've got some other Parameters so if I want to go in and modify this Group Ð let me go ahead and modify that Ð we'll go into our Globals and Attributes and discuss that. So what this allows you to do is set individual Parameters for each of the Groups based on your Globals or based on individual Attributes for each Group. So typically as we create Groups we want them all to be the same, but we may want to change some of the Parameters, so since we've got everything that's being assigned here by choosing Globals I can say, you know, I want my Send Levels, everything to be adjusted here. A lot more control than we'd get, again, with our LE systems. And we'll go back over to our LE system just as a reminder of what we've got for an LE system. So, down with our Groups, Modify, that's all we've got. So, now all the different settings: Mute, Solo, Send Mute, Send Levels, so as a Group. So, go back to our HD system and I can choose what Sends I want to have assigned and what Levels and all across individually on each Send, so it's be just a Global, you're hitting them all when you're on an LE system. So, Insert Controls, Bypass, do you want all of that, that is part of the Group. Our Save Settings is parameters to let us save this so we can quickly recall Presets, so I can say, you know, I'd like this to be as part of number 1, so let me go to number 2, and here's what saved number 2. So, for number 2 I'm going to go and have these parameters assigned. By the way, I'm holding down Control, it's doing everything from left to right. If I hold down Option it does them vertically, and if I hold down Control and Option it does them all together. I just held down Shift with that as well and it did everything. So I'm going to save this as part of number 2, and now I'll jump back to number 1 and there are my Presets, there's 2, I just quickly get between the things that I want. So that's all that is, and if you're working with a Work Surface you can also recall those from the Work Surface Ð kind of nice. So, I've got my Parameters set. I want things to follow Globals. This VCA allows us to assign this, if we had a VCA or Group automatically to a VCA I can do that after the fact as well. I don't need to do that here, and I'm going to choose OK, leave that as my Setting, and then let me go and create another Group. So I'm going to go down a few more Tracks here and we'll select 17, now we'll go all the way to 19, Create Group, and on this what I would like to actually have done is its own individual settings. I don't want it to follow the Global settings, so I'd like to just do these, and this allows me quickly to toggle between just taking off all the Globals, some other setting that I can bounce back and forth between, so this has those Parameters as part of its Group now. Again, always naming your Group something that's useful is helpful. So, I can go in and change these afterwards. Here's what the Attributes are that I selected for this individual Group. Let me go to this Group and you can see the Attributes for that one, and so forth, so what have I assigned as part of this Group. So, those are the things that we get with HD systems, a little bit more flexibility than we would otherwise.
