Any artist needs inspiration we need to see other artists work; we need to be inspired by the things that we see in real life. Such as a great sunset or snow on the mountains. Something like that to really just get to that nerve that makes you a creative person. So let's go ahead and talk about some of the magazines I dug up for you that you can find at your favorite bookstore or order online or subscribe to. Let's start off with American artists which is a great resource for people who want to learn how to paint and use other drawing implements such as pencil and watercolors and that kind of thing. The website here is my Americanartist.com. The cool thing about this list is I've already copied and pasted all these links for you in a separate text file that you can download or find on your CD. Next we have Photoshop user magazine, now the reason I included this is because well Photoshop and Painter can pretty much do almost the same thing. Now of course Photoshop is more specialized as far as image editing. But don't forget people do paint and create painterly effects in Photoshop so you might want to browse through a couple of issues at your favorite bookstore and decide whether you'd like to pick up a copy of Photoshop user. This is painting magazine and it has all kinds of arts and crafts kinds of paintings as you see here. You can do all kinds of cool holiday things and craft kind of artworks. So check out painting magazine. And we have another magazine called quick and easy painting. And once again this is one of those magazines that kind of go with the arts and crafts vibe so you can do all kinds of little decorative boxes and that kind of thing. See I'm a guy so I have no idea what that is, I have to ask my wife so uh I'm gonna go ahead to the next magazine. This is the artist magazine, another great magazine to check out how to apply your artistic skill to create nice paintings using a wide variety of techniques and medium. And we have watercolor magic which as you see here discusses techniques using watercolors, lights and textures and that kind of thing. And this magazine is available for subscription as well. And I've included something that you may not have thought of which is 3D world magazine, now why in the world would I put a magazine that deals with 3d. Because people do use Painter as well as Photoshop to create textures for 3D models. So it's kind of important to know that. You know if you, a Painter who wants to paint for the love of the art then you may not be as interested as a commercial artist who paints to make money. So I'm just trying to cover all the bases for all the different kinds of artists out there. And we also have new type magazine which deals with Japanese animation, Japanese mahjong and that kind of thing. I included this one as well because every once in a while they have tutorials on how people paint in Photoshop and painter creating covers and all kinds of cool artwork. Once again this is something else that you might want to consider to expand your skill level with so. And this great magazine is airbrush action magazine and I used to use this all.
