All our logo needs now is to pop off the background. If I go ahead and hide this sketch we'll see that the red border is pretty powerful and it's very readable but because the text is blue and the background is blue we might need to do something else just to push the words or rather pop them off the page. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna take this layer here which has nothing on it and we're going to grab our brush and as you see here I've selected artist oils and I've chosen oily bristle and a pretty good size brush, a 108 pixels. Gonna double click to change the color to a nice greenish neon kind of thing. And I'm going to simply, just paint a couple of crazy strokes like this. Nothing fancy, just a couple of them like that. And I'm going to add a filter on this guy here so we are going to go to our filters and I'm going to add a tear and we'll wait for that to launch and we'll move this over so we can see what we have. What I want to do is I'm going to decrease the margin, not that much, and I'm also going to change the tear color, I'm going to double click on that, I'll click once and I'm going to change the tear color to an even brighter color so let's go to this yellow up here or something like this maybe a green. click OK and I'm going to click OK. And one last thing I want to do is I want to add a little softness to this, so let's go to our effects menu and we're gonna go on down until we get to focus and we're gonna choose motion blur. And once again we have to commit this to an image layer. So let's click commit, and I'm gonna move this over a little bit and move this down so we can see what's going on and as you see we have a nice blur here. We can change the angle at anytime by using this angle slider so I'm gonna try to find something that's gonna compliment the direction of the letters. Let's move this over see the words go, I think we'll follow the exclamation so we go ahead and move the angle this way. We can also change, or increase the thinness of that so you can see more of the streakiness of it. And you can also effect the radius, how much is gonna blur. Let's go ahead and do something like this and click OK and now the letters pop off the page very much, its very readable, we're able to see the words and the letters very easily against the background and the shape really adds a lot of dynamic motion to the artwork. So, what we've done is we've taken regular text, turned it into shapes and then in turn used our tools to manipulate the points of those shapes. Then committed everything to image layers, eventually adding a very cool background with it's own effects to create a very dynamic and quick logo, created in painter.
