Hey there everybody, thank you very much on behalf of Virtual Training Company for watching this tutorial on Corel Painter 11. My name is Dwayne Ferguson and it was my honor to guide you through the new features of the application as well as guide you through you some really fun projects just to loosen you up and get you used to the Tools. Well we talked about quite a few things in this tutorial, from the RealBristle Dry Media, which allows you to work Tools in Painter as you would work with them in the real world. Like the Pencil, the Marker, The velocity based Pen and the way you can tilt your Stylus to use the tip or the side. So it was really cool and it's a really great addition to the application. A lot of people of course had been asking for, forever, for the ability to resize some of the Palettes inside of Painter and now you can as we experimented with earlier. Well you can pretty much maximize them out and make better color selections for your paintings. We also talked about the ability to use the new Color Management Tools. So never again will you have to open up a file from another application and then have your colors print out in a way that look like a bunch of mud with sticks sticking out of them. We also talked about the new Transformation Tool. This guy right here, that gives you the ability to do all kinds if things, from Scaling, to Rotating, to Skewing, to using Distortions, as well as Perspective. Good stuff. Thank you very much. And I also talked briefly about some of the new enhancements, such as the up to 30 percent speed increase in the Brush performance. And once again, Photoshop has to come into the equation because they work better now than ever before. Now we also did a couple of projects. We did one that was pretty much freeform, which is how I roll. We did one called the shard, where we came up with a Concept Sketch, after I explained what Concept art is. And then we did this really on the fly made it up as we went along and that's just how I do things. And I hope you enjoy that and also seeing how I come up with things from the creative standpoint. It's literally like that. A client will say something to me or I'll just get up in the morning, get a white piece of paper, think about something like this, and just implement it. And we also did the other project. Let me go ahead and close that where we did a technological kind of tomato thing. We did a collage called genetic engineering. So we could just do a collage using Layer Masks and different Composite Methods, Type Tool and some special effects like pop art fill. So once again guys I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and learned a lot. The secret to Painter, like anything else, is just practice. The things I couldn't cover because of the scope of the application, feel free to just open up every single menu literally and see what it does. You can't mess up. Just undo and experiment. You know, try every single thing here until you find some of your favorite tools and just, you know, use the application to create amazing artwork. So take care and I'll see you later.
