There's a really cool Plug-in for those of you guys who are fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger and as we see here it's called appropriately enough Liquid Metal "Come with me if you want to live." So, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to open up an image by just going to Open and go to my Desktop and choose, let's see, my Mascot, this is the shark known as Crunch, and I'm going to apply the Liquid Metal to this shark. I'm also going to set him up to be the Clone Source. Now what this will do is when we apply the Liquid Metal, we'll be able to choose the shark itself as a source of reflection as opposed to the Default, which is like a window. So, with the shark selected I'm going to go to my Plug-ins and I'll choose Liquid Metal, and I have this dialog box that appears and what I can do is click on this guy right here and start to paint my globules of metal and when I let go I have this cool metal that will attract to other globules and it's very fun. And what you can do is draw on top of the globules and you can even move them around with this little arrow, so I can pull the globules away from the other ones. So, you can pretty much have a good time animating. You can make believe that, you know, this is the result of the Liquid Metal robot being blown apart and then he starts to form somewhere else, and then it's Arnold, and you've got to run Ð fast. So, it's a really fun toy, but as I mentioned before you see the window in there and this is the default Map, but I'll come back to this in just a moment. You also have the ability to adjust the amount of the effect which will adjust the power of the reflection. So we can really see that room very clearly and you know, it's less so in this one here. So we really strengthen it and lower the strength. We can also Smooth the effect of the globules, and we can affect the Size, it's Volume, and the Spacing. You can even use this Tool here if you want to, to draw strokes with the metal, so you can just draw like this and create your own effect. So, if you are not happy with this by the way, just click Clear. And I'm going to draw another globule right about here. Now let's talk about how we can change the Map to the image that we chose as our Clone Source, which in this case is my shark. So I'm going to go where it says Standard Metal, and I can choose Chrome if I want to, Chrome 2, Interior, but I'm going to go to my Clone Source and there we have my shark Mascot, and this is the T5000, the Liquid Metal Shock. So, it's a really fun Tool and you can do all kinds of cool things with it. Now, one more thing I want to show you that's really handy is the Rain button. So, if you want to have the effect of looking out of windshield when it's raining, or a window, and let's say you did a postcard and it's a rainy day outside. You can click Rain and then you'll have all these globules just appear on the window, and you can hit OK to stop the effect. So that is how you can use the Liquid Metal Plug-in to create something very interesting inside of Painter.
