Alright. This is the last lesson in the part on painting. We've used several different techniques to paint over a daisy in its entirety. We've painted a barn. We've also painted your flower and we clone brushed the hook out. We've painted a border around a picture with kind of a boring background. And now we're going to finish this up by painting the flowers and some of the greenery in it. So I'm going to create a new art media layer and this time I'm going to go back to I think chalk, going to select a round tip large and now just kind of decrease the size. There we go. Now, if you click trace and start going over the painting, or picture in this case, you'll notice that when I press down, the color under my click is transferred to the materials palette and it's really easy to trace over a picture in this way. I'm just kind of artistically hatching over these flower petals. I'm not trying to cover them completely, leaving a little bit of room. That's why the chalk here I think I like because I can see through it a little bit, or at least feel like I can. And I think we've got some of the petals now. I'm actually going to create a new hard media layer, drag it underneath that and hide the flowers. And now we're going to do some of the greenery. Let's create some leaves. Just pull them up, curl them out, change the size of your brush if you like. If you want thinner leaves coming out that's fine. You can probably tell by now that, at least in terms of painting, I'm not an ultra-realist. I'm certainly not into modern abstract art, but, um, I'm not trying to cover every leaf here in exact detail. I'm just kind of going with the flow. Kind of looks cool to create an interesting picture. Going to change my brush size again. And because I've got trace on, again, you don't see me going back and forth between the dropper tool or hitting control and picking up a hue into the materials palette. It's one reason why I like trace in this instance so much because I can just, boom, right under that brush there, there we go. That's the color. Now you'll notice too, though, to need to be careful. For example, I'm going to click on this red flower and hold my brush down, or the chalk in this case. Notice how it's actually not continually tracing. It picked up the color one time and I'm pulling it around the canvas. Use short strokes and you will pick up what's under that click much better. You can see the red, gray, dark gray, so forth. Alright. Let's turn on the flowers again and see what we've got. I think we can wrap this lesson up. We've taken a digital picture that wasn't bad and just made it a little more artistic and creative. First we took out the hook on this pot with the clone brush and I used a technique that I employ most often with clone brushes, which is to put it on a different layer so that I can turn it on and off if I want to. Then we simply used a couple of our media layers with chalk. And this time we used our trace function to, I would say, moderately kind of liven this picture up with some chalk. And I think the effect is really good. Alright.
