Here we have Stroke Width, which, if I turn on the Stroke Property and change colors, you can see that I can just increase or decrease that. Creative possibilities abound here. Create As, when you're creating it, whether you want to create the text on a Vector Layer, as a Selection or as a Floating Selection. Now let's look at some Line Style Options here. This affects, let me change this color here to blue and a white fill. The Line Style defines this blue line that goes around the text and I've got mine set in blue. I can choose from any one of these for different creative effects. Some are more attractive than others and you know, you're just going to have to decide. Join is how this line joins into itself either with a very pointy angle, a rounded corner or with a beveled edge. And then when you're using Mitre Join, the Mitre Limit defines how sharp that corner is. Warp Text is an option where if you have the Pen Tool, let's create a curved line and it could be a shape. It doesn't have to be the Pen Tool. Now let me undo that and create, connect the segments here. Click, segment two, segment three. OK. So I've got a nice, curved shape there. Drag this to the middle here and I'm going to create some text on it. That Warp Text, let's change the colors here to dark and green on the inside. Alright. Now I'm going to expand this and hide our original text. So this Warp Text indicates that if enable it, that text I just typed is going to warp around that curved shape and you can see the different on and off. So each letter can warp with the curve of that contour. Now, the Offset defines how far away the text is from that contour it's attached to. You can have zero and you can have up to a thousand here it looks like. Alright. And then finally we've got a couple of Text Options here: Letting is line spacing; how your line spacing looks. Let's access our text down here again and change those options quickly because I'm running out of time. Letting affects, so I need two lines, so line spacing here, if I increase the Letting, it increased the line space. Kerning affects distance between the letters. Auto Kern automatically adjusts that and Tracking is very close to Kerning but it's equidistant between no matter what the letters are. Kerning is more for situations like W or let's say VW or V, let's go M where Kerning would help space those letters apart better. Tracking affects all the letters that we've got. There are quite a few options to the Text Tool and I wanted to spend some time and talk you through each one.
