If you are not ready as far as knowing the material on the night before or on the day of the test, you may as well go ahead and reschedule the test. Because you are not going to get ready before you go take the test. So the object is to be ready, and to be ready before the night before the test. And to be confident the night of the test, because you want to get a good night's sleep. And the way you can be confident is that after you have studied the material, you could bounce it off of somebody else, get them to ask you some questions. You might take enough sample tests and get to where you are getting 90 to 100 percent on those sample tests. Because you want to be confident so that you get a good night's sleep - that's a key to passing the test on the next day. When you get up in the morning, eat something that you like. The reason that you want to do that is that the reason that you like it is that it makes you feel good, as well as that it tastes good. So that gives you a reward, but it also puts your body in physically a good condition to go be productive and pass the test. Get organized. One of the things that you are going to need to bring to the test center is two forms of identification - they are going to need that, so just count on that and get organized. Bring some notes to review, but don't cram - relax before you go take the test. Get to the center a little bit early so that you can relax. Don't fight the traffic, don't let yourself get into a situation where you are not relaxed. When you start to take the test, take any practice tests that are offered - sometimes they will have some practice tests that have nothing to do with the subject matter, it's just to help you get used to the testing engine itself. I highly recommend taking those practice tests because you get used to the way that the tests work. Then when you actually start taking the test, read the whole question and all of the possible answers before you respond. And don't worry about time, because if you do it this way you will have plenty of time. So read the whole question, all of the possible answers and then you might even read the whole question again just to make sure that you got the question right, and then respond. If you don't do it this way, if you read part of the question and think you know the answer and skip down to the responses, that type of thing, you will run out of time or you might run out of time. If you read the whole question, all the possible answers before you respond, you will have plenty of time to take the test. Take my word for it. When you get done with the test, when you get done with the last answer, review the test to make sure that your responses were what you had intended. But be very careful about changing your first response - in other words if you think that your answer was wrong, or that you just put the wrong answer (you know) an hour ago, think about it again. Typically your first instinct is right, and you probably didn't learn much during that test, not enough to know that. Maybe you did - in some cases maybe you picked up something from another answer. But be very careful about a first instinct change. On the other hand, make absolutely sure that if you meant to mark "a", but "a" is marked, that you didn't make any stray marks on the test. That's why you review, to make sure that your answer was what you had intended. But be very very careful about changing first instincts for second instincts, because nine times out of ten first instincts are right. So follow these principles, get ready to go take the test, get yourself mentally and physically prepared, and then go take and pass the Server+ Certification Test. I know you can do it.
