Subtitles of the Movie

I wanted to close out this section of movies showing you at least where the Dreamweaver server behaviors are should you wish to look into those on your own. We don't have time to go through setting that all up, I thought the log in was a little more important to show you. But I want to at least direct you to this particular feature because it may be something you want to look into. So all I did was create a blank page, we are not going to be working on the page itself anyway and if you turn in your application panel to server behaviors. What server behaviors are, are bits of code that Dreamweaver will drop in because we're our ColdFusion website the server behaviors are ColdFusion that gets dropped onto the page. Dreamweaver also offers PHP, ASP and ASP.NET as well as JSP. So the server behaviors kind of come out in whatever language it is your using within Dreamweaver. But to get to them you click the plus sign and if you scroll down notice you can insert and update records inside of here. But there is a user authentication area, so what you can do is add log in user, server behaviors, this is code to actually log in the user against a database. You can restrict access to pages and that would force a log in, you would add this server behavior to every page within the section you're going to create the log in for. This server behavior you would use to actually log out users and this one, make sure that the user name their planning to use is individual user name, nobody else is using it. So those are the server behaviors, you may want to research using those within your code, it's all ColdFusion that Dreamweaver creates, as long as you are in a ColdFusion site and I want to at least point those out to you. We do not have time, I'm sorry to go through and set these up. I thought the form wizard was a little more valuable for you to learn within this course.
