Subtitles of the Movie

In this movie, we're going to install the course files for this course, so what you want to do is obtain the SUMA.zip file that I'm showing here either from the actual VTC website where you have signed up for the course, or those files are also installed on the CD if you're using the CD. So what we want to do is just double click SUMA.zip. It doesn't matter where you have those presently located on your machine. We're going to extract them into the correct location on the ColdFusion server. So go ahead and click extract all files. If your folder task is not showing, you can always get to it from file extract all. So we will extract this directly into the ColdFusion section, so open up my computer and we want the local drive and we want is this CFusion MX7 folder. So we'll open that up and if you scroll down inside that folder, there's one called www.root and that's what we want to open. Now, inside that folder we want to place our folder so go ahead and select that www.root and click OK and you'll see we do not have a SUMA folder at this point in time. So let's click next, show extract files and we now have a SUMA folder inside our www.root. That was created when we extracted. So if I open that up, you will have a lot more files than I do at this point. You should have quite a few of them. Located inside that folder are the solution files. This is just as if you've done the exercise in the various movies and then these outside the solution files are exercise files just as if you're about to start the exercise for a specific movie. I also want to point out that you have install screens here for actual ColdFusion install and you do have a cheat sheet I've created that you can print out and use when you're working in ColdFusion. There's a lot of functions and tags that you might find handy having access to through that cheat sheet. So we have installed our course files and now what we can do is move on and test those files out, test our setup. Later on, during the Dreamweaver section, we'll be actually installing and setting this up to work with Dreamweaver.
