We will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on May 20th, 2013 at 02:00 GMT.
I want to conclude this starting a project section by looking at information that we can embed within our project and this inserted information about our finished project and subsequent video makes it possible for our potential end viewers to view this information and make the finished movie searchable on the Internet. Now I know at the moment, we've not got a very complex project but regardless of that, let me show you how we add project information. Just come up to View on your Menu, drop down to Project and then fly-out to the right and click on Project Information. As a result, you'll see this Video Information Option Dialog Box with three tabs. Now we'll start with Project Information and you'll see these 13 different fields that you can enter information into. Now you don't have to fill in information for every one of these fields, but the more that you do fill in, then of course, the more information that will be available for people searching for your finished project, if you do make it available on the Internet or on iTunes. You'll notice the third tab allows us to enter some information should you want to make your finished video available on iTunes. Anyway, let's just go through Project Information Tab first of all. Let's give this a title, I'm just going to call it VTC 1 and I'll move down to the Subject Field and I'll call this Tutorials. Now of course, you're going to have to make the information that you enter much more specific to your particular project, I'm just simply showing you where things are. Let's move down to Category, I'll call this C7 and SI10, short for Camtasia 7 and Snagit 10. I'm going to leave the date as it is, the Default Setting there, that is automatically embedded as soon as you start to enter this information. You'll see you can actually write pretty much anything that you want to, if I come down to my Format Field for example, I could just write in Camtasia here. Perhaps the format should really say something like AVI or MP4 or FLV, you know those sort of extension that state what your movie format has been created as. Okay, now you just fill in these other fields with information that you want to be made available, perhaps coming down to the bottom here in the last two fields, starting with this one, Keywords. Well if you type in some Keywords, that you think somebody searching on the Internet would be using, for example, if you are creating a tutorial on Photoshop, then writing in here Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS6 as Keywords, would mean your finished movie stands a better chance of being discovered by somebody making a search on the Internet. By the same token, if you come down to Description, then writing quite a succinct sentence describing exactly what your movie is, then also your movie stands a better chance of being found. Let's come across to the second tab, the Author Information Tab and simply fill in as you would deem necessary. For example, with Creator, I'll fill in my name and with the Contributor, I'll fill in VTC and by the same token the Publisher will be VTC also. You could add your email address there, should you want to, you could also add your home page in that particular field. In Rights Management, well I'm going to say this is copyrighted and any additional information that you want to add, well of course you would add in that particular field there at the bottom. Well let's move across to the last tab, the iTunes Information Tab and it's here that you can set these Radio Button Options and add some information in those fields at the bottom that help the end user discover and find some information about your particular movie when you upload it to iTunes if that is what you are going to do. For example in the iTunes Category, I'll use the Drop Reveal here and I'll choose Training as the Category that I want this to be placed in. And a summary that I want to be made available on iTunes, well I just fill in here. I'm just filling in a load of rubbish at the moment but of course you'd make this relevant to your particular movie, your particular project that you want displayed when somebody looks for your movie and subsequently finds it on iTunes. Okay, so simple enough, when we want to add information to our project so that people can find our finished movies. As I say, very simple but quite an important thing to do if you want to make your work discoverable by many people. Right then, we'll finish this starting a project section and we'll move into a new section, project progression, see you in a moment.
