The Cisco 640-607 test is not easy. It is tricky, and you need to be at your best in order to pass it. Which means, number one, you need to get a good night's sleep. So, study up until the night before the test, but don't cram all night the night before the test. That would be counter-productive at best. On the morning of the test, eat something that you like. Because when you eat something that you like, it makes you feel better. And when you feel better, you'll perform better. That's psychologically proven to be true. Get to the test center early, and bring two forms of identification. They're going to be need for you to be able to prove who you are, and you're not going to want to have to run back out to the car or be worried about that when you've got other things to worry about. So, bring two forms of identification, one with a picture like a driver's license, and get there early, so that you're not running up there late and hoping that's there still enough time to take the test. Review right before the test, but don't cram. There's a big difference between reviewing and cramming. Reviewing is just going back over the major concepts, and as part of going back over those concepts, the relaxing and realizing that you know it. And that you know it as you're going to know it before you go take this test. Cramming is getting all nervous and trying to shove as much as you can into your brain before you go in, and that is psychologically counter-productive. So don't cram. As a matter of fact, as much as you can, relax. It's not life and death. The very worst thing that could happen is you don't pass the test. And then, guess what? It was a great experience. Now you know more about what you need to do to pass it next time. And then all you have to do is go schedule it again. As a matter of fact, for the ones that I did not pass the first time, that is one thing that I did. Is made sure that I scheduled the test again before I left the testing center. You can't let that psychologically get you down. You've got to get ready to go take it again. But let's pass it the first time. Take any practice tests that are offered, and especially if you haven't used this testing software before. If you've taken other tests, and this is the same kind of center, it's a Sylvan Center, it's a Vue Center, you already are familiar with the way that their testing engines worked then fine. But, if it looks a little bit different, then take the practice test. Because, really it doesn't really have anything to do with computers generally, and it's just a matter of getting used to the testing engine. Though it kind of helps you to relax before the test, and gives you an idea of how the test is going to work, as far as the engine is concerned. When you get into the test, read the whole question and all of the possible answers before you respond. A good way to cheat yourself out of time is to second guess every single possible response, and then go back and read the question again and try to five questions out of every single question. That will burn up your time. The best thing to do is to read the entire question, read all of the responses, then skim the entire question again, and then pick the right response. If you know your material, you'll be able to do it that way. And you will learn from the test that way. Now, in most certification tests, you have the capability to go back. But not in Cisco tests. Most Cisco tests you do not have the capability to go back. So, once you push the button to say "I want to go to the next question", that's it! And 640-607 is no exception. Once you move on to the next question, you can't go back. So, read over the question, read over all the possible answers, then answer the question, and then move on. Forget about that one. Review the test to make sure that all your responses were what you intended, but be careful about changing your first response. As I said, you can't go back anyway, so you can't review as far as going back over questions that you've done previously. Not on the 640-607. Not in the way that it's currently written. But, you can review your answer prior to going to the next question. In other words, just make sure that if you meant to check (a) and (b) that you did check (a) and (b). Don't second-guess yourself as to whether (a) and (b) was the right answer, but just make sure that you didn't put any stray marks. Because that's the most frustrating thing is to know that you knew the right answer, but because we were nervous, we just put the mark in the wrong place. We meant (b) but we put (c). So just make sure that you mark the place that you intended to mark. And, last but not least, go take and pass the 640-607 test. You can do it. rong place. We meant (b) but we put (c). So just make sure that you mark the place that you intended to mark. And, last but not least, go take and pass the 640-607 test. You can do it.
